01 / THE FOUNDER
Expertise, experience and a strong network
Valerie Bollen is the founder and driving force of Wine Sessions. Her fascination with wine began in 2010 at hotel school in Breda and grew into a professional specialisation. She holds the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and pursues the Master of Wine qualification. She is part of the teaching team at Wijnstudio, the largest wine education team in the Netherlands, and has been involved with the Brabantse Wijnsociëteit, one of the country’s oldest wine clubs, for years.

For boards, organisations and business relationships, wine can be a meaningful part of hospitality, relationship building and shared experience. Whether it is an exclusive client event, a special reception for international guests, wine training for a team or strategic advice around wine, we bring knowledge, quality and thoughtful execution together. Every assignment is tailored, with attention to the details that make guests feel welcome.

From the Netherlands, we work across the country and with international clients. Our services are available in Dutch and English, making it easy to welcome international organisations and guests. With internationally oriented wine knowledge and a network within the wine world, we can bring together the right expertise and contacts, locally and across borders.
